The Night Bazaar

About

The Night Bazaar was a project I wanted to work on for some time. It is a follow up to The Bazaar, which you can also view on my site. It is an alternate, underground world to The Bazaar. While it's initial environment concepts were inspired by The Bazaar, additional feedback and critique focused on creating a more dynamic composition.

 

The story is that there are these portals from the above ground that lead to the underground, seen in the skull fixtures; And in this world there lives a dragon with 2 heads, one guards the surface, one the underground. But the underground dragon has fallen ill after a sorcery has seduced her and taken her power. Our heroes are sent on a journey from the dragon of the above world into the depths of the underground to save her.

 

This project was primarily created in Photoshop, with the use of graphite pencils and paper for the initial sketches.
